tutu

i school we were taught to never paint from the tube and to never use a colour straight from the colour palette in illustrator. that concept has stayed with me. i got looking at my lunch vehicle last week and decided it was too pre-fab – straight from the tube. so i bought a patch from the jungle and ironed it on where the "thermos" patch used to be. i'm dazzled by this change. it's a nice personal touch. i think i'll buy a "you're not the boss of me" button from the goat and pin it on as well. very suitable i think.

apparently i have nothing else to say. nothing's coming to mind, so i guess i'll end here for tonight.

summertime has come and gone,
all used up with wishful thinking.

um, i guess i could consider that.

i actually haven't been to the goat since june. oh, no wait, i got a tea to go last saturday. other than that, i haven't been there since june. the day after skeleton park music festival.

is that for real?
we never went to the goat together this summer, even once?
how could such a travesty have occurred????!

hi les! just wanted to say i miss you. your LV description makes me smile. yoi should put up a photo. i'm having trouble imagining a "patch from the jungle".

at my new workplace, we have a 'lunch syndicate'. every day of the week it's someone's turn to make lunch for the other 4 people, which means every day of the week there's a nice hot meal waiting.

i think the moral of both these stories is: lunch at work can be entertaining if you make it so.

hey alison!! shared lunch responsibilities sounds nice, and very clever. are there only 4 people at your work or are there only 4 people involved??

it's nice to hear from you. i saw a guy last weekend that looked like your brother, but i only met him the one time, and i know he lives in montreal, so i was probably just confused.

i hope you are well and mr drew too :p i miss you in k-town! and in canada for that matter!
