it's ok, i'm just disappointed that i'm having to use more vacation days. i'm currently scheduled for monday morning. i should be back in ktown that evening.

Clearly you don't understand the stranded vacation rule. If you are stranded while on vacation and you've done everything within your control to get back to work on time, you get to take an extra week of vacation time with full pay. Okay, if it's not a rule, it should be. Sounds like you're having a great time, anyway!
