red flag

dreams are something that have always been analyzed. what do they mean? are they prophetic? are they symbolic? for me, they unlock my subconsciouses. they allow me to explore avenues that my normal controlled self won't allow, because it's dangerous or hurtful. i also find, on numerous occasions i've found myself in circumstances that i have previously dreamt. all of a sudden a dream i'd had months ago will flash into my head, and i'll recall "i dreamt this moment". it's as though my mind has a still-frame that my real life walks into. it's really trippy. it's some crazy form of déjà vu.

i don't like who i am when i'm around her. i'm disdained or goofy, and she makes me feel like i only have unintelligent things to say. but let me tell you, i'm not nearly as stupid as she thinks i am.

good news... i'm well on my way to being a normal contributing member of society. today i went to rustle church. al asked me to do the reading, i almost declined because of my fear of reading in public, but instead felt it would be another step to overcoming that insecurity. so i did it. and i think i did pretty good! yay!

i promise you i will learn from my mistakes.

I was sorry to have missed your reading because I was taking james out with the kids.

I also missed al.

It was good to see you, even if I was distracted by a 5 year old most of the time!

you mean you missed having al there or you missed hearing al speak. because al wasn't there. i'm confused.

it was nice seeing you even if we didn't get to interact :)

gen, are you familiar with the parable of the talents??

well, i missed having al there.

your post said "al asked me to do the reading" so I thought he had been there, asked you to do the reading and left!

al was in st. catherine's with his first and second born.

I've had the dreamt deja vu moments as well! Kinda like to think of it as my not-so-useful super power. :)

indeed, it's really not a very useful power. but kind of cool nonetheless :)
