jealous

my favourite things about weekends is knowing i don't have to go to work the next day. except for sunday, when i have the promise of work looming over my head. which seems so odd to me because having to go to work the next day on week-nights it's not a loathsome thought. i DO loathe all that i need to do before bed tonight and the fact that it's already getting kind of late. i've been slipping out of the habit of doing my dishes before bed. i need to rectify this problem. however, i think i need to start tomorrow, because right now i think it would do me a world of good to go bed on time.

i feel as though things are changing without my permission. i can't explain it. things i enjoy doing seem to be falling to the wayside. it's so strange because you'd think that if i want to do 'A' than i'd do that, but instead i'm finding myself doing 'B', when i didn't really get an option. all of a sudden i'm heading down one path and i didn't even notice that there had been a fork in the road. does anyone else ever feel like life just takes you places you didn't want to go?

someone from san jose (with a linux computer) has read pspd about a dozen times today. who is that? joel? buddy? someone i'm unacquainted with?

i'd like to think i'm the mess you'd wear with pride.

given your numerous posts about doing the dishes...i've concluded that if and when the day comes when you get a dishwasher...you simply aren't going to know what to do with yourself!!!!!!

it will be a magical day, my friend!!!

believe it or not, but i do actually have a dishwasher. it's a countertop dishwasher. but it hasn't been working properly since i moved into the maxipad. the water is too hot and it's been cooking the food particles onto the dishes. so i've only used it about 10 times in the last 18 months. besides, when it's just one person it's just as easy to clean my plate and cup in the sink. BUT i used it last night to help with deplete the mounting pile, and i THINK i've got the temperature problem sorted out. it's funny because i've noticed i talk a lot about my dishes and my bedtime on pspd, but if i were to write my entry earlier in the day then i'm sure i'd ramble about something else.

oh beck in the artic... yer great too.

the person from san jose KEEPS checking pspd at around once an hour. i wish they'd get a life, or identify themself so i didn't feel so creeped out.

i love my dishwasher too.... but i still do some of the dishes (mostly sippies and pots and pans) in the sink... and believe it or not i enjoy doing them... it's a time to refocus somehow.

ya, growing up we always had to do pots and pains in the sink. so i kind of continue that trend.

i actually don't mind doing dishes either. i prefer it to cooking. but i have to be in the right mindset. i'm too busy lately, i have to do something about that.

Ha ha! I like that you typed pots and PAINS! They are a pain, sometimes. I put EVERYTHING in the dishwasher. Even the kids paint brushes when they're done painting. If it doesn't all fit, it sits on the counter until the next load. I enjoy laundry, but I've just never been able to get into dishes.

HAHA. i totally didn't mean to do that. haha.

i hate laundry. actually, i don't mind it, i HATE folding. so having to send my laundry out suits me just fine.

ya, i thought you used opera bud, BUT ya never know *shrug*. creepy weirdo person stalking me. actually, i'm sure they're not a weirdo stalker (at least i hope not!), but they're secrecy is creeping me out.
