in keeping with the comedy of brendan's job situation (technically having three jobs at the moment), he was contacted this evening to interview for a job he applied to in september! hilarious. why do these things happen!?!?! he's going to decline it.
i haven't mentioned this lately, so i feel that i should. i'm really enjoying my book 'the women's room'. it's exactly what i was looking for – a story about women. all the details of their lives, and what makes them all unique and different. it's almost comical that there's no other book like this, because it's almost exactly my experience of women – they're everyday, ordinary lives, their struggles, disappointments, small pleasures. it just goes to show that regular, everyday women are not considered interesting subjects by society, or at least publishers. i think they're wrong. never knew we were living in the beautiful wild.
