st lawrence river

we traveled east. leaving at 7:40 am and arrived at 1:30.we only got lost once in montreal, and i totally expected to, because it's not easy to navigate. driving over the bridge into quebec city was amazing. thankfully at that point our drive was almost over because cabin fever was starting to set in :p i love road trips. 

i'm having a super great time with beck and brendan. it's been so relaxing and easy going. we've been hanging out, chatting, eating, laughing, walking. we spent the whole afternoon in old quebec, wandering and exploring. it was definitely winter out, but i like feeling winter's chill and defrosting afterwards. it makes me really happy that beck and b get along so well. we went to this microbrewery last night, it they only serve beer there and have menus from other restaurants available so you can order take out to be delivered. very cool. i had a cherry & vanilla stout. it felt funny that we couldn't speak with the server and beckie had to translate for us. it was very amusing in a good way. we concluded that the pub was like a beer version of the goat. 

beckie's house is pretty cool. we have a fire going in the fireplace, and the puppies are  outside. b really liked the dogs, i'm glad he finally got to meet them since i've told him all about them. they're so funny, and BIG!
