some of you may have noticed my lorem ipsum link, and you may have wondered "what is that?" well let me indulge you. lorem ipsum is ancient latin text used by designers in layouts before they are provided with copy (a.k.a text). i was perusing that website one day to discover an english translation and was so facisnated by it. even though it was written in B.C. (before christ not british columbia) it was so relievant.anyway, this is my favourite part "the wise man rejects pleasures to secure other greater pleasures, or else he endures pains to avoid worse pains". that's something i thought of years before reading that, so i was amazed to discover not only had someone else pondered that notion, but they wrote about it in 45 B.C.!! incredible!!! but seriously, its so true. sometimes we face hard times. sometimes making the right decision is extremely painful, but it is better in the end so we avoid worse pain.
won't you help me out of the state i'm in.
