i'm becoming semi obsessed with good quality sox. i have favourite socks and least favourite socks. unfortunately, the number of crappy socks out number the awesome socks. a true dilema if i've ever seen one. so because of this, i think i've come up with a plan. i'm going to order one pair of awesome socks a month. i know i could go to the store and buy some, but i hate errands, and i like the idea of socks arriving in the mail. the great thing about my once a month sock purchase is that i can improve my footware without great expense. little by little i will build a wardrobe worth of my toes :p they will keep me warm and dry.
it seems in quebec, male employees will enter the women's washrooms for scheduled checks and cleanings, while the ladies are still in the stalls. that happened to me twice! i consider myself more easy going about such things than most - if there was a scale between 1 to 10, 1 being horrified, and 10 being completely comfortable, i'd be a 6 or 7. i think i was more puzzled about this new approached and was surprised by the breach of bathroom etiquette.
i say high, you say low
you say why, and i say i don't know.

Socks that twist on your feet when you aren't wearing shoes are one of my biggest pet peeve. Especially since I am a million years pregnant and can't bend down to fix them.
Also, socks that slide down and bunch up when you are wearing dress shoes are also really annoying. I feel like all of my socks should be knee highs so that they can't twist, turn or slide.
fitted feet with extra padding on the balls, toes and heels of feet. and some combination of merino in there. my absolute favourites are a merino-silk blend with fitted feet.
footlove.
