kosher

so how are things? i'm doing.... alright.

rhonda lent me a book today and i went to the goat. its very well written and i'm committed to actually finishing it. so hold me to that ok? the writer has a very unique style, same author who wrote "our lady of the lost & found". remember when i was reading that? its called "forms of devotion" this book has got me wondering "am i faithful or faithless?" and i've got to say... i don't know. i kind of wish i wasn't so "wishy-washy", because its difficult when your worldview chances with every outfit. melissa tells me "you're you" and that's true, but i guess i have to come to the point of accepting what that means. when i was talking to melinda yesterday she said something about "perhaps that's coming out of your past insecurities". i don't think i really understood what she was talking about at first, but sometimes its easier to identify things when you're looking at, not looking out.

to my disappointment, NO ONE was available for lunch after church. i guess i should have pre-planned something, or taken the opportunity to ask the new girl out for lunch. argh. however, why didn't she ask me? why does no one ask me to do stuff?????!!?! poor les. i did have a pleasant time at the goat by myself, i saw several people i know through melinda.

i had a visit with rhonda, i had to deliver the lego i stole from the church for her. i'm glad, because i needed to have a visit. i'm going to try to swing by there after living room tonight.

a sunset without you is no less pretty then it ever was.

Hey Leslie,

The new girl would TOTALLY love to go out to lunch/do anything. If you need instigation: I am free on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and want to see the following movies: The Queen, Marie Antoinette, The Santa Clause 3. Also, poker at my place on Friday is usually a fun, if boistrous, time. So, there you go. You are cordially invited to anything on any of those days :D

alrighty, sounds good. although, i've never played poker before. i don't think i'd be very good at it since i cheat at ALL games. all.

welcome to pspd :)

Good thing we didn't break out the games at my party!

I think it's pretty funny that the new girl knows who she is! I thought it was more of a general statement at first, didn't realize it was specific.

I like Skype to chat, not that I ever have time anymore. We haven't got the MSN thing.

nah, i talked to the new girl at living room last night and mentioned that i should have invited her out to lunch. so she knew.

do you need a web cam for skype? or a mic? i don't think i could use it then :(

No, I don't have a web cam or mik. I just use the chat function. Or should I say used? It's been months since I've had time!

There is noone at work here today - I think a lot of people got a day off for Remembrance Day. Funny that they threw it on the Monday, you'd thing the Friday was more logical.

i think there is something in the laws that says holidays have to be taken after the day if they can't be taken the day-of. leastways, that's why we in the north have today off... originally we were supposed to have the friday, but then the Law made us change it.

I didn't know skype worked like msn at all... interesting...

cool. so informative :)

sorry you had a dull day aphra. i sympathize.

so funny about the holiday. here in moose jaw, the schools (province) took the friday off but the base (feds) took the monday off.

i always thought it was weird that ontario didn't have rememberance day as a province-wide holiday. it was always a holiday when i was growing up in pei. and of course now that i'm mrs. military i have even more affection for the holiday. you'd think that the nation's capital would have more say in whether or not the province would celebrate a day like rememberance day.

gad, sorry about the recent influx of comments, les. they probably have no bearing on reality for you now. glad i'm caught up now, though. missed you. :)

hahaha. i LOVE the influx of comments.

yes, i can understand why being married to the military would increase your sentiments towards rememberance day.

i think having it as a holiday makes sense if people use it to remember and not just for sleeping or cleaning out their gutters.
