melinda and i went to parrots bay today!
this is exciting because i pass it everyday, twice a day, on my way to and from work. and for the last 4.5 years i've been thinking "i should go there sometime". i'm very excited to finally have done it. it was really beautiful, and in many ways i think it blows lemoine's point out of the water. in other ways it's WAY creepier. like, check out this eerie car. it's one of two discarded cars in the parrots bay conservation area. they made us very uncomfortable.
on our way there, i wanted to show melinda my office because it was so close by. it was very cool because i've never had the chance to ever show anyone my cubicle before. i liked it a lot, i wish i could show more people where i work. she really liked my cube, and thought my raised desk was neat. so fun :)
sometimes i like just sitting on couches telling people crazy stories from my life. it's especially fun when they react with as much excitement and enthusasium as i feel about my tales. thank you for affirming me, and assuring me that it's not all in my head.
the weightless words the heart attracts.
i want it all.

Why are abandoned cars so creepy?? When we were in Maui, the highways were littered with them. The island as a whole was so pristine and exotic, and all the while, there were abandoned cars every where…almost like a reminder that not all things are perfect…even there! Some of them even had police tape and stickers on them.
So strange!
i had alot of fun yesterday. ur hilarious. and delightful.
i woke up this morning and thought... hmm, lesley would be a good/amusing/fun person to be stranded on a life-boat with in the middle of the ocean. or, trapped in a small cell with for indefinate amounts of time.
i usedto think dr. phill would be the number one candite, but ur slowly sneaking up. (plus i demoted dr.phil after an episode where he briefly bashed vegetarianism)
anyway.
im happy u are u.

well, there are two reasons why the cars were creepy. first, because they were in the middle of a forest. and that implies the people were up to no good. secondly, because melinda had been telling me about this article she read in the newspaper about this 30 year old unsolved case of a missing woman. that sets the tone for being frightened by decrepit cars in forests.
well i'm very honoured that you might choose me to be stranded on a life-boat with you. maybe we could braid each other's hair or make them into dreadlocks?? sorry that i wasn't very helpful last night. you were working a way on the sacks and i was just siting talking :S that was bad of me.
dr phil has lost some merit for me too. i can't remember why, but bashing vegetarianism is pretty lame. i filled in a survey today about donating blood :D
